The Forest meadow was added in Beta v.1.8.5 as a temporary location on the Global Map in the game Last Day on Earth: Survival's first anniversary!
"There is a new moderate location added, where you can find a chest with presents, the content of which remains secret. Just open it and you will see, we don’t want to spoil the surprise!" (from DevBlog 05/25: Anniversary update.)
You noticed a strange zombie while you were out on a walk. It seems that something odd is happening in the forest.
