Information[]

Armor Points / Armor Rating, or what is commonly known as Defence, reduces damage taken from attacks.

Armor is an Item type players can equip.

Armor can be crafted or found as loot.

Armor cannot stack. Its effects are only active when placed in the appropriate body slot: Head, Torso, Legs, and Feet. When equipped, each piece of armor will change the character's appearance accordingly.

Armor durability decreases as the player takes damage from attacks.

Damage Reduction, Damage Taken, and Armor Points[]

Damage Reduction is the Percent Damage mitigated by the Armor at the cost of its Durability.

Damage Reduction is calculated as:

  • Total Armor Points / ( Total Armor Points + 50 / 3 )
  • or A / ( A + 16.667)

Damage Taken is computed as 100% minus Damage Reduction.

  • Note: Damage Taken is always rounded to the nearest Whole Number

To compute or estimate Enemy/Zombie's Armor, this formula is used:

Set Name Tier Total Armor Points Damage Reduction Damage Taken
Normal Clothes 1 8 32.43% 67.57% ~ 68%
Hazmat Suit 1.25 (Special) 10 37.50% 62.50% ~ 63%
Reinforced Normal Clothes 1.5 12 41.86% 58.14% ~ 58%
Thick Clothes or Fur Clothes 2 16 48.98% 51.02% ~ 51%
Reinforced Thick Clothes 2.5 20 54.55% 45.45% ~ 46%
Ghillie Armor 2.875 (Special) 23 57.98% 42.02% ~ 42%
Tactical Armor 3 24 59.02% 40.98% ~ 41%
Swat Armor 4 32 65.75% 34.25% ~ 34%
Kevlar Armor 4.75 38 69.51% 30.48% ~ 31%
Assault Armor * 6 * 52 * 75.73% 24.27% ~ 24%

Note: To Survive Frenzied Giant's Attack, you need to have at least 17 Armor (3 Thick Clothes + any 1 of Reinforced Thick Clothes) to receive 99 Damage if you have 100 Health or 12 Armor (Reinforced Normal Clothes) to receive 116 Damage if you have 118 or 120 Health.
